Our large pellets is a special application diet formulated to meet the nutritional requirements of many varieties of marine, ornamental and other warm water aquatic species. The large diameter (3/8”) pellets have excellent water stability and form a soft doughy consistency after 24 hours in the water. Some applications include: • Cafeteria feeding of small fry. • Indoor tank feeding. Less fouling of water than conventional products. • Use as bait in tropical or bait fish traps where long-soak time is necessary • Pond feeding. Feed in mesh bags attached to Styrofoam. Empty bag will float when feed is all consumed. • Use with species that prefer to graze onfeed over a long period of time such as Plecostomus and Grass Shrimp • Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Maintains nutritive value and shelf life up to 6 months. • Frozen storage helps extend shelf life. Feeding Techniques • When hard surface troughs, raceways and ponds are used the Aqua Stab-L Diet can be distributed uniformly over the bottom of the container. • When the fish are raised in large areas with dirt or similar bottoms, the product is best fed by placing sufficient quantities for a 24 hour period in trays or platform type feeding stations and distributing them uniformly around the pond’s perimeter. • A unique feeding technique has been developed that provides an automatic indicator as to when feed has been eaten. The appropriate quantities of pellets are placed in 1/8” mesh bags and a small piece of Styrofoam or other buoyant material is attached.
